Originally from Olympia, Washington, Megan Haughton is excited to be practicing family medicine in Eugene and serving the greater Pacific Northwest community. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Pacific Northwest University in Yakima, Washington, and completed her family medicine residency training at Full Circle Health in Nampa, Idaho, where she served as chief resident.
Her path to medicine was shaped by a deep desire to serve others and build meaningful relationships through healthcare. Prior to medical school, she spent two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Guatemala, an experience that strengthened her commitment to community-based care and broadened her perspective on global health.
Dr. Haughton enjoys providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. She takes particular pride in developing long-term relationships with individuals and families, and values working together with her patients as a team to support their health and well-being. Her clinical interests include preventive care, chronic disease management, mental health, OMT, reproductive medicine, and family-centered health.
When she’s not seeing patients, Dr. Haughton enjoys spending time outdoors skiing, fly fishing, hiking, and camping. She and her husband Jeff love playing board games with their family and friends, as well as traveling.
