Betty Evans, CMPE, Regional Administrator

Betty Evans has been in the health care industry for more than 47 years, starting out in long-term care and transitioning to the medical office setting more than 29 years ago. She remains committed as much today as in the beginning to embrace the ever-changing landscape of healthcare. Her passion continues for ensuring support of Physicians and Advanced Practitioners, to allow for the best patient experience, leading to the best patient care outcomes, all while utilizing the ongoing advancements in electronic technology.   She brings her can-do attitude to the office each day.

Betty attended Lane Community College, where she completed the Advanced Business Management Program and subsequently completed her Certified Medical Practice Administrator through Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) to receive her CMPE (Certified Medical Practice Executive) in 2006.  She worked for Oak Street Medical, PC for a total of 18 years ending as CEO.
When Oak Street Medical was acquired by Praxis Medical Group in July of 2016, Betty’s role changed to Regional Administrator for the Southern Willamette Valley region, which she currently holds today.

With the goal of helping others, her unique approach and perspective to planning, problem solving and decision making along with the use of current technology, her goal is to continue to bring the best patient care to all the patients her clinics serve, both now and in the future . Betty continues to have a hands-on, insightful leadership style with her current role for all her regional clinics. She is proud to lead the caring and supportive physicians and staff members of Oak Street Medical, Oregon Allergy Associates, Eugene Endocrinology and Thurston Medical clinic, where patients are the primary focus.

Born and raised in Eugene. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, she recently starting paddle boarding and kayaking, and truly loves being on the water, along with trips to the coast.
