Committed to caring for patients with kindness and respect, Dr. Hylke Snieder is available for both acute and chronic health needs. “I love providing full spectrum care for people of all ages and backgrounds,” says Dr. Snieder. “The thing I enjoy most about family medicine is building relationships with my patients.”
Dr. Snieder was born in the Netherlands and moved to Colorado with his family at age ten. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado, Dr. Snieder spent an AmeriCorps year of service working with youth in an underserved area in South Seattle. He then returned to the Netherlands to attend medical school and complete his master’s degree at Utrecht University. He completed his residency training at the Samaritan Health Services Family Medicine Residency program in Corvallis, Oregon where he also served as chief resident.
Outside of work, Dr. Snieder loves spending time with his wife and two young daughters. A voracious reader, he can often be found browsing at the local library or used book store. He stays active by biking to work and playing ultimate frisbee.
