Thorough, attentive and kind, Dr. Shehzad Jinnah delivers compassionate care that comes from many years of well-recognized experience and training on three continents. A board-certified internist, he enjoys all aspects of medicine. His special interest is diabetes.

Patients and colleagues alike speak highly of Dr. Jinnah’s positive attitude, caring nature and extraordinary insight, often recommending him to friends and loved ones. He puts patients at ease by asking questions and explaining things in a way that’s easy to understand.

Upon receiving his medical degree, Dr. Jinnah traveled to the United Kingdom, where he trained in internal medicine and its related sub-specialties for five years. He became a member of the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom in 1991.

After completing his residency at the University of Connecticut, he worked in an underserved area of New Mexico for 11 years. Dr. Jinnah joined Oak Street Medical in March 2009.

Devoted to his patients and his family, Shehzad is married and has one daughter. His hobbies include reading nonfiction, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family.
